Tofu Vegetable Stir Fry

The following is an easy recipe for tofu vegetable stir fry. Perfect for a vegetarian dinner meal.

What you'll need to make this tofu stir fry...

Recipe Ingredients:

  • Use any vegetables in season

  • 1 lb. Broccoli cut up

  • 2 medium carrots chopped

  • 1 stock celery chopped

  • handful of snow peas

  • 1 medium onion

  • 2 cloves of garlic

  • 1 tablespoon cooking oil

  • salt and pepper to taste

  • ¼ cup say sauce

  • 1 teaspoon sugar

  • 1-2 tablespoons cornstarch (dissolved in 1 cup of water)

  • 1 lb. Block of tofu (firm) diced in squares

How the tofu stir fry is made...

Directions:

  • Heat oil

  • Put in garlic and add diced onion

  • Next, add chicken and cook until it is not pink in the center

  • Put vegetables in with the chicken and stir mixture until vegetables are desired texture, not too soft

  • Stir in cubes of tofu

  • Cover and simmer for 2 minutes

  • Uncover mixture and add cornstarch and water mixture

  • NOTE: cornstarch and water will thicken the mixture as it sits

There you go your stir fry is all complete. You can enjoy this with some rice or just have it as is.
