An Easy Strawberry Syrup Recipe

A very easy strawberry syrup recipe that tastes wonderful on pancakes, waffles or french toast. It especially taste great as a topping over vanilla ice-cream. making strawberry syrup

What you'll need to make strawberry syrup...

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 2½ cups of fresh strawberries (hulled and diced) or thawed, frozen strawberries

  • 1 cup of sugar

  • 1 Tablespoon of lemon juice

  • 1 Tablespoon of water


How the strawberry syrup is made:

Directions:

  • Add everything to a pot and bring to a boil

  • Once boiling turn down heat to low

  • Simmer uncovered for 20 to 30 minutes, stirring occasionally

  • Remove from stove

  • Serve hot or let it cool
