Peanut Butter Cornflakes

Peanut Butter Cornflake Squares

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup corn syrup

  • 1 cup granulated white sugar

  • 1/2 cup of peanut butter

  • Approximately 2 cups of cornflakes

How the Peanut butter cornflakes are made:

  • In a small pan combine corn syrup and sugar

  • Cook over medium heat until it starts to bubble

  • MAKE SURE YOU DON'T COOK TOO LONG. If you cook it too long it will be hard when it cools.

  • Once it starts to bubble put the 1/2 cup of peanut butter into the pan

  • As soon as the peanut butter is completely melted into mixture remove from heat

  • Slowly add the cornflakes while you stir

  • Remember it is only approximately 2 cups of cornflakes. You will know when to stop when the cornflakes you add, aren't getting a lot of peanut butter mixture on them

  • Using a spatula press corflake mixture into a greased square pan - (use a non stick spray)

  • Allow to cool before cutting into squares and serving
