Super Easy Cheese Omelet Recipe

This basic cheese omelet recipe is perfect for when time is limited or you're new to cooking and need an easy breakfast recipe to begin with.

The making of a cheese omelet

What you'll need to make this omelet...

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 large eggs

  • pinch of salt

  • 1/2 cup shredded cheddar cheese

How the omelet is made...

Directions:

  • Coat your frying pan with a non stick spray

  • prehead the frying pan over low to medium heat

  • one by one crack open the eggs and place in a small bowl

  • add a pinch of salt

  • Using a wisk or fork scamble the eggs until well blended (see image on the right)

  • Pour the eggs into the frypan slowly

  • Tilt the pan around until you have a thin circular pattern of egg

  • When the egg looks pretty much cooked sprinkle the cheese over top of the egg (see image on the right)

  • Using a fry spatula carefuly flip the edge over

  • Continue to flip the same side until you have it completely rolled up

  • Leave it in the pan for a little while longer to ensure it is fully cooked and all the cheese is melted

  • Remove from pan and place on a plate
