Homemade Maple Syrup Recipe

An easy maple syrup recipe that has a wonderful maple caramel taste. Goes great over waffles or pancakes.

What you'll need to make this maple syrup...

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1/2 cup white sugar

  • 1/2 cup brown sugar

  • 1/2 cup corn syrup

  • 2 Tablesppons butter

  • 1/2 Teaspoon maple flavoring

  • 1/2 cup water

How the maple syrup is made...

Directions:

  • Put all the ingredients together in a pot

  • Put them on the stove on high heat till the butter is all the way melted

  • Once it starts to boil wait one minute (make sure it doesn’t bowl over)

  • After one minute pull it off of the burner (the longer you boil it the thicker it will be

  • Now it is ready to serve

  • Maple Syrup is best served hot
