A Simple Recipe
for Hamburger Gravy

What you will need to make hamburger gravy.

Ingredients:

  • 1 lb (500grams) Lean ground beef

  • 1 small onion chopped

  • 1 clove garlic minced (cut into little pieces)

  • 1 brown gravy packet

  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce

  • salt to taste

  • pepper to taste

  • Approximately 3 tablespoons white flour

  • 1 tablespoon of milk

  • Approximately 2 cups milk

How it's made:

  • Brown the hamburger (ground beef) with chopped onion and minced garlic.

  • Once hamburger is brown add 1 tablespoon of milk and the flour. Sir until liquid is all soaked up and the hamburger mixture is sticky.

  • Gradually add in approximately 2 cups of milk while simmering. Use just enough milk to reach desired consistency.

  • Now follow directions on gravy packet using only half of the required water

  • Add the gravy to the hamburger mixture.

  • Add Worcestershire sauce and season with salt and pepper to taste.

  • Serve over mashed potatoes, rice, hash browns, eggs or biscuits.
