Easy Hamburger Recipe
with Cheese & Mushrooms

Easy cheese mushroom burger

Make 4 delicious cheese and mushroom burgers with this easy hamburger recipe.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • 1/2 cup bread crumbs - (can substitute with cracker crumbs)

  • 1 egg

  • 1/3 cup ketchup - (can substitute tomato paste)

  • 1/4 tsp pepper

  • 4 hamburger buns

  • 10 medium mushrooms - washed and sliced

  • 1/2 onion chopped

  • 2 tbsp butter or margarine

  • Mayonnaise to taste

  • Grated marble or cheddar cheese

How the Hamburgers are made:

  • In large bowl combine first five ingredients - mixing well

  • Break groundbeef mixture up into four even sized balls

  • Flatten each ball into a hamburger patty

  • Grill or fry until no pink can be seen when cut into center

  • While hamburger patties are cooking put mushrooms and onion into a skillet with margarine

  • Cook on medium heat, stirring occassionally, until desired tenderness

  • Top hamburger patties with cheese and allow to melt

  • Place cheesie patty onto bottom half of burger bun

  • Top with 1/4 of mushroom mixture. Spread other half of bun with mayo and place on top of hamburger

  • Serve and Enjoy!
