Easy Chili on Spaghetti Noodles

Easy Chili on Spaghetti Noodles Recipe

Chili Ingredients:

  • 1 lb lean ground beef

  • 2 tbsp oil

  • 1 medium onion chopped

  • 2 green peppers seeded and chopped

  • 1 - 28oz (798ml) can diced tomatoes

  • 1 can tomato soup

  • 2 tbsp chili sauce

  • 1 tsp ceyan pepper

  • 1 tsp paprika

  • 1 tbsp chili powder

  • 1 bay leaf

  • 1 can kidney beans

  • 2 cloves garlic crushed and mixed with 1/2 tsp salt

  • Spaghetti noodles

How the chili dinner is made:

  • Brown meat, onion and green pepper in 2 tbsp heated oil

  • Add tomatoes, soup, spices, bay leaf and chili sauce. Stir

  • Bring to a boil

  • Reduce heat, cover and simmer for one hour - stirring ocassionally (watch it doesn't burn)

  • Add beans, salt and garlic

  • Heat through

  • Serve on spaghetti noodles

  • Recipe can be doubled or tripled for larger gatherings

  • Chili freezes well

This is an old family recipe that I got from my Mother.

This chili tastes even better reheated the next day.
