Chicken and Rice Dinner

This recipe makes a delicious dinner that's ready in minutes.

What you will need to make this easy chicken & rice dinner...

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 3 boneless, skinless chicken breasts cut into small bite sized pieces

  • 2 large carrots pealed & cut into thin coin sized pieces

  • 3 celery stalks chopped into small pieces

  • 1 small onion, chopped (optional)

  • 6 cups of cooked minute rice

  • Approximately 2 to 3 tablespoons of Chicken in a Mug powder(chicken oxo) - As much or as little as desired

  • 2 tablespoons of butter or margarine

How the chicken & rice dinner is made:

  • Cook up your minute rice in a large pot

  • In a pan or skillet saute chicken, carrots, celery and onion (if desired) with butter or margarine; it's ready when chicken is fully cooked and carrots are crisp tender

  • Transfer the chicken and vegetables to the pot of cooked rice and stir

  • Add the chicken in a Mug powder

  • Mix thoroughly untill powder is completely dissolved

Makes a very easy chicken and rice dinner serving 4 to 6 people.
