Soft Chocolate chip cookies

These are the easiest and best tasting chocolate chip cookies to make. They literally melt in your mouth.

Chocolate Chip Cookie Ingredients:

  • 2½ cups flour

  • 1½ cups white sugar

  • 1 teaspoon salt

  • 1 teaspoon baking soda

  • 1 table spoon vanilla

  • 1 cup butter

  • 2 eggs

  • 1 cup of chocolate chips

How the Chocolate Chip Cookies are made:

  • Preheat oven to 375 degrees

  • First whisk the eggs, sugar, vanilla, and butter together in a bowl

  • In a separate bowl mix flour, salt and baking soda

  • Now mix the flour mixture in with the sugar and butter mixture

  • Stir until all ingredients are well blended.

  • Add chocolate chips or nuts and raisins if desired

  • Grease a cookie sheet

  • Using a teaspoon drop equal sized mounds of cookie dough onto cookie sheet

  • Bake for about 8 minutes - (all ovens vary so watch carefully)

  • Cookies should be a pale creamy golden color

  • Remove from oven and let cool a minute or two before placing on a flat surface to cool completely

  • Makes approximately 32 cookies
