Chocolate peanut butter balls

If you love chocolate and peanut butter, then this is the ultimate recipe for you. It's the perfect chocolate treat.

Recipe Ingredients:

  • 1 cup smooth peanut butter

  • 1 cup butter - softened

  • 1 tsp vanilla

  • icing sugar

  • milk chocolate chips

How the chocolate peanut butter balls are made...

Directions:

  • In large bowl blend peanut butter, butter and vanilla until completely smooth

  • Add icing sugar a little at a time until stiff enough to roll into balls

  • Roll into balls and place onto cookie sheet covered in wax paper

  • Put tray in fridge for 1 hour

  • After 1 hour, put chocolate chips into microwave safe bow

  • Microwave at 25 second intervals - stiring in between - until chips are smooth and melted

  • Remove peanut butter balls from fridge

  • Using a spoon, roll each ball around until completely covered in chocolate

  • Drop from spoon onto wax paper and place in fridge until set

This is my nephews favorite Christmas treat. He asks me to make it every year.
