  • 1 cookie sheet

  • Shortening or margarine for greasing the soufflé bowls and cookie sheet

  • Pastry brush

How to make the bread bowls:

  • Lightly grease the outside of each bowl and place on a greased cookie sheet

  • Put a little flour on a cutting board or clean surface

  • Divide your bread dough into 6 equal sections

  • Shape each dough piece into a ball

  • Roll out dough balls into equal size rounds (see picture above)

  • Next you place each round over the bottom of a greased bowl

  • Mix parsley flakes with melted butter

  • Brush mixture over dough

  • Sprinkle with galic salt

  • Cover and allow to rise for 20 to 25 minutes

  • Pre-heat oven to 350 F

  • Uncover and place in oven

  • Bake for 15 to 22 minutes or until golden brown color (all ovens vary)

  • Let cool for 5 minutes before removing soufflé or custard bowls

  • Place upright on a rack or tray to allow any interior moisture (if any) to dry out
